Past Intern Experiences:
“I worked a variety of projects while working here at U.S. Venture, Inc. as there are many different areas within the Human Resources department. When I started this position, U.S. Venture, Inc. was in the middle of transitioning from Taleo to Workday for a recruiting human resource information system. I was given the opportunity to assist our HR Recruiters in this conversion, which was an experience that was definitely not something you can learn in a classroom. During the implementation, I researched Workday business processes to find or create efficient solutions to potential problems with the transition and create Workday process documentation for the Human Resources staff, Managers, and Associates. With the Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll departments, I have conducted numerous audits and produced multiple compensation surveys. I have created several benefit-related informational videos for our Associates as well. Lastly, I was given the opportunity to help organize and implement multiple events throughout all of US Venture’s locations, as well as the chance to sit-in on multiple informational webinars, meetings, and interviews.”–Olivia, UW-Oshkosh
