U.S. Venture named title sponsor of Children’s Week in Appleton
Children’s Week celebrates local youth by providing family-friendly activities
(Appleton, WI) June 25, 2019 – Children’s Week in Appleton is excited to announce U.S. Venture, Inc. will serve as the event’s first ever title sponsor. The popular weeklong event brings families together to enjoy community resources, including engaging, hands-on favorites like the Appleton Parks and Recreation Playground Fair, a free day at the YMCA and the annual Building for Kids Children’s Parade.
“U.S. Venture has been a long-time supporter of Children’s Week, and we are honored to have them as our 2019 title sponsor,” Niki Wendt, recreation manager, Appleton Parks and Recreation, said. “Families throughout Appleton and the Fox Cities enjoy Children’s Week and its activities every year, and it cannot be overstated how grateful we are to our partners.”
Back for its tenth year, Children’s Week celebrates Appleton’s appreciation of the children and families that call the city home. Each day of the event provides families with opportunities to make lasting memories while engaging in free or reduced-cost recreational activities throughout the City of Appleton. This year’s event will take place from July 21-27, 2019.

All proceeds from event sponsorships and admissions support Appleton Parks and Recreation, the Appleton YMCA, and the Building for Kids. These organizations support Fox Cities kids and families year round.

Families throughout the Fox Cities look forward to U.S. Venture Children’s Week because the event makes it fun and easy to create lasting memories together by offering an array of free and reduced-cost activities throughout the Appleton area. In its ten year history, Children’s Week has hosted thousands families in the City of Appleton for safe and healthy recreation. There are three benefactors for U.S. Venture Children’s Week and they include the Appleton Parks and Recreation, the Appleton YMCA and the Building for Kids.
