(Appleton, WI) - August 10, 2026 – U.S. Venture, whose vision is to be the very best provider of transportation products, sustainability solutions, and insight driving the world forward, announced the release of its 2025 Sustainability Report. The report details the company’s environmental progress, workforce and community investments, and governance practices during a year that also marked growing momentum across its sustainable solutions portfolio.
“As a company deeply committed to environmental responsibility, we believe innovation and sustainability go hand in hand,” said Brett Wetzel, vice president of sustainability and innovation at U.S. Venture. “By continuously looking for ways to streamline our operations, conserve resources, and foster collaboration across our teams and industry partners, we are not only reducing emissions but also creating meaningful, long-term impact.”
The report highlights continued growth in U.S. Venture’s sustainable solutions offerings and operational efficiency efforts, including:
- Volt Vault™, U.S. Energy’s patent-pending mobile EV charging unit, expanded deployments across seven states in 2025 and has charged more than 2,500 commercial vehicles to date. The program will expand to 15 states in 2026.
- CleanMile, Breakthrough’s transportation emissions management platform, helped shipper clients achieve an average 6% reduction in emissions intensity within their first year of use, and was named “Innovative Service of the Year” by the Sustainable Business Council.
- U.S. Energy distributed more than 5.5 million gallons of renewable diesel in 2025 to help customers reduce their transportation-related emissions.
- U.S. AutoForce deployed 21 electric cargo vans in California, marking its first commercial electric vehicle fleet rollout, alongside continued electric truck pilots with Freightliner and International.
- U.S. Venture completed its fourth on-site solar installation and converted three fuel terminals to heat pump HVAC systems, contributing to a 10% decrease in emissions at those facilities.
“At U.S. Venture, sustainability isn’t a separate initiative or a box we check. It’s part of who we are and how we show up every day as we work to Find a Better Way,” said Eric Kessenich, CEO of U.S. Venture. “We see it as both a responsibility and an opportunity — one we share with our team members, customers, partners, shareholders, and the communities where we live and work.”
