U.S. Lubricants Hires New Business Development Manager and Marketing Manager

29-Jan-2018

Appleton, Wis. – January 15, 2018 – U.S. Lubricants, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., is pleased to announce Tracy Williams-Prince has joined the team as business development manager for the heavy-duty/commercial category, and Kristen Wondra as marketing manager.

Williams-Prince brings 20 years of marketing and brand experience to U.S. Lubricants. After serving in a variety of marketing roles in the banking and construction industries, she was hired to work for U.S. Venture in 2012 as marketing manager for Express Convenience Centers—a franchise of convenience stores owned by U.S. Oil, U.S. Venture’s fuel distribution business. In 2013, she transitioned to oversee marketing and brand for both U.S. Oil and U.S. Gain, which is a division of U.S. Venture that supplies fleets with compressed natural gas.

In her new position with U.S. Lubricants, Williams-Prince will identify new opportunities to meet customers’ lubricants needs, sell U.S. Lubricant’s private label, called Thrive™, and Peak to all markets, as well as Valvoline and Mobil to specific markets. She’ll work with heavy-duty fleet customers in the Midwest.

“I have seen firsthand the energy Tracy brings to a team and customer base,” said U.S. Lubricants President Bill Renz, who worked with Williams-Prince at U.S. Gain. “Her decades of marketing experience, and knowledge of the heavy-duty truck industry from her time with U.S. Gain, will serve her well in this new role. We’re excited to have her join U.S. Lubricants.”

Williams-Prince is currently pursuing her master’s degree and has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire.

“What excites me the most is heavy-duty fleets is a new category of business for U.S. Lubricants,” Williams-Prince said. “I have the unique opportunity to build our portfolio and engage new customers.”

Kristen Wondra moved into a marketing manager role with U.S. Lubricants in December 2017 after serving in a marketing promotions manager position with U.S. AutoForce, the auto parts and tires distribution business under U.S. Venture, since 2016. During that time, she developed, implemented and tracked promotional campaigns and marketing plans for more than 10 various tire brands across the country, as well as assisted in the coordination of customer appreciation events.

In her new role with U.S. Lubricants, Wondra will be responsible for defining marketing, customer and brand strategy, sales and marketing programs, and delivering integrated marketing communications plans, as well as driving strategic planning and execution.

“Kristen is a valued addition to our management team,” Renz said. “She brings a wealth of traditional and digital marketing savvy and customer relations experience to the business.”

Prior to U.S. Venture, Kristen held a variety of marketing roles with Marine Travelift and Oshkosh Defense. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
