GAIN Clean Fuel Station Opens

21-Jun-2013

Appleton, WI – U.S. Oil has opened another GAIN® Clean Fueling station at Express Convenience located at 1618 Velp Avenue in Green Bay, WI. The new station will provide compressed natural gas (CNG) to trucking businesses and individual drivers. This is U.S. Oil’s ninth GAIN® Clean Fueling station, adding to the endeavor to create a CNG network of stations spanning the nation. U.S. Oil plans to add a minimum of 50 additional GAIN® Clean Fueling sites in the next five years.

“U.S. Oil has been at the forefront of alternative energy solutions since the inception of our company,” said Bill Renz, General Manager of GAIN® Clean Fueling. “The GAIN® Clean Fuel brand is one of the ways we are working cooperatively with trucking companies seeking to convert their fleets to CNG. It’s quickly becoming a fuel of choice and one that provides significant benefits financially and environmentally.”

The station was built to support the trucking firm, Klemm Tank Lines. “We’re excited to be partnering with U.S. Oil on the opening of this GAIN® station,” said Klemm Tank Lines President Greg Klimek. “We have on order 12 new CNG trucks and plan to expand this alternative fuel option over the next few years. It’s truly a great opportunity for our company to become more environmentally friendly while taking advantage of the cost effective alternatives to foreign fuel supply. It’s truly a win, win situation.”

The new station is also open to public use or for other trucking firms. “One of the early drawbacks to trucking companies and individual vehicle owners to purchase CNG vehicles was the availability of CNG fueling stations,” Renz said. “We are working to establish a network of GAIN stations that will remove that barrier.” The company continues to seek opportunities to partner with other trucking firms to open additional GAIN® stations throughout the United States.
