We believe commitment to community goes beyond our backyards and encompasses the wider earth. For us, this starts with approaching each decision with environmental awareness about how our actions affect the planet. Our value of innovation extends to support the latest in green technology from how we get our products to market more efficiently to where we invest our capital.
Our passion for sustainability is perhaps best showcased in our new corporate headquarters. Our building was constructed to meet LEED Gold Standards. Throughout the facility we used reclaimed materials: from lumber and recycled carpet, to repurposed slate and billboard vinyl. Whenever possible we maximized opportunities for natural light, reducing the need for additional light sources. Our facility is also equipped with a high efficiency individualized climate control system and low flow fixtures are present in our restroom and break room areas. Surrounding our building we have reintroduced native plants and have taken care to maintain the natural surroundings making it enjoyable for our associates as well as the public who use the nearby bike paths.
