U.S. Venture, Inc.'s governance standards support a culture in which all associates, managers, officers, and directors are focused on achieving results for our customers with enthusiasm and integrity.
Our processes and policies for the operation of the company support the company’s vision of being a market leader that provides customers with unconventional, creative solutions for them to achieve a competitive edge. As a result, a critical focus of these processes and policies is ensuring accountability across the organization for behavior that supports the achievement of that vision.
An important part of this accountability comes through the company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, which reinforces to all associates, managers, officers, and directors the standard of conduct expected of them in conducting business. Although the Code cannot cover every situation that may arise, it is a compass to help guide people in doing the right thing for the customer and the company. All U.S. Venture, Inc. associates, managers, officers, and directors have a continuing obligation to familiarize themselves with the Code as well as with all applicable law and company policies governing their work. All associates, managers, officers, and directors are provided with multiple options for reporting actual or possible violations of the Code, company policies, or applicable law, including the possibility of anonymous reporting through a “whistleblower hotline” administered by a third party.
An additional component of U.S. Venture, Inc.'s operational processes is a sincere regard for the stewardship of our environment. The company strives to comply fully with environmental laws and with workplace policies and procedures concerning the environment. In addition, the company supports environmental planning and performance auditing, the sustainable use of natural resources, an integrated approach to solid waste management, and energy conservation. One example of the company’s commitment to environmental stewardship is its new corporate headquarters. Among its many sustainability features, the building, which was constructed to meet LEED Gold Standards, uses reclaimed materials, maximizes natural light exposure, and uses low-flow water fixtures.
